Africa Data Centres – Nairobi: East Africa’s Most Connected Facility
Located within Sameer Industrial Park, our Nairobi data center is the most connected facility in East Africa. Spanning 2,000 square metres across four secure floors, it provides scalable, high-security space for housing mission-critical IT infrastructure.
The facility offers direct access to carrier networks across Kenya and connects to long-distance fiber routes reaching Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, and Somalia, as well as diverse fiber paths to undersea cable landing stations in Mombasa.
It was also a regional pioneer—the first data center in East Africa to achieve Uptime Institute’s Tier III certification and the first in the region to be PCI DSS certified by the Security Standards Council.
As a digital infrastructure leader in East Africa, Africa Data Centres is committed to driving economic growth across Kenya and the broader region through reliable, world-class digital infrastructure.
Aligned with our sustainability strategy across the continent, our Nairobi facility operates on a water-free policy, using non-potable water for cooling and integrating solar energy to reduce dependence on the national power grid.
